Rayleigh Town Council manages all markets in Rayleigh High Street. A regular Wednesday market is held along with occasional weekend markets. The Wednesday market sells a wide variety of goods including fresh fruit & veg, fish, cakes, pastries, speciality breads, women's clothing of all sizes, jewellery, groceries, household products, footwear, Avon products, bedding, plants and flowers.

If you would like to have a market stall, then please send your name with contact details to the Town Clerk with information regarding type of goods you wish to sell, size of stall and any previous market experience. For information a 3m x 3m stall is £18 per week. The trader must supply a copy of their Public Liability Insurance prior to trading. The Town Council does not supply any stall, equipment such as gazebos, this is the responsibility of the trader.

Markets may be cancelled depending on weather conditions without prior notice. Any cancellations will be displayed on the Town Council's Facebook page.
