Dementia Friendly Town

Rayleigh Town Council has committed to making Rayleigh a Dementia Friendly Town, a place where those living with dementia are understood, respected and included. Dementia is a set of symptoms that may include memory loss and difficulties with thinking, problem-solving, perception or language, and affects daily life.

Dementia is challenging for both people with the condition and their carers, but it is possible to live well with dementia.
